
Joanna Crilly is an Equine Canada Level 2 coach, trainer, FEI advanced dressage competitor, Canadian and USDF "S" Dressage Judge. She has been teaching since 1975. Her educational background is in music and she has helped KRS students produce numerous winning dressage freestyle performances over the years.

| Joanna Crilly & Legacie | Joanna has become well known across Canada for giving clinics in the preparation of the freestyle. They have been featured as Dressage Canada Adult Amateur Camps in Ottawa and London and offered independently in many other places including Bermuda. She has given clinics in Ghana, Malaysia and Canada and judged in Canada, the U.S., Bermuda, Malaysia and Singapore.
Joanna is the Ontario representative for Dressage Canada, Chair of the DC Rules Committee and member of the Dressage Canada Board. Along with Joan Johnston, she has been an active and avid supporter of the development of Dressage Canada as a committee of Equine Canada, is a past president of the Ottawa Area Dressage Group and held the position of Trillium representative on the Ottawa board for many years.
Joan Johnston (riding Wessel above left) is also a trainer, coach and Grand Prix dressage competitor. She has earned Dressage Canada Bronze, Silver and Gold medals and has twice won the Lauren DiIanni Memorial Prize for excellence in freestyle competition riding Wessel. Joan brought along KRS Wessel from an unbacked three year old all the way to Grand Prix.
Joan was the Trillium awards coordinator for the Ottawa Area Dressage Group for several years and is currently on the awards committee for Dressage Canada. As well, she travels to many parts of Canada giving very popular clinics.
Joan and Joanna emphasize the importance of good equitation and common sense horsemanship. Position and safety always come first.
Over the years Joan and Joanna have also been involved in sponsorship of two of Canada's Grand Prix riders: Gina Smith and Shannon Dueck. |
