BUSY TIMES; GREAT SHOW RESULTS
Monday, July 14, 2008
This summer has been so busy that we have not even had time to keep this news page up-to-date.
Joanna has been judging every weekend from Blainville to PEI, while Joan judged in Nova Scotia, gave a riding clinic the next day and followed that up with another clinic in Brandon, Manitoba.
Students Kathleen Thomas and Anouk Desaulniers won all of their classes at the Silver Dressage show at Starlit Farm and Joan and Wessel produced a second and two third placings in the Grand Prix at the Gold show at Blainville, Quebec.

Kathleen Thomas is the Eastern Ontario Trillium Reserve Amateur Champion
Friday, October 05, 2007
The 2007 Trillium dressage season is over and Chopin has shown, yet again, that he is a consistent performer for his owner, Kathleen Thomas.
They competed at first level and included a freestyle as well. Their scores put them into second place in the Eastern Ontario division of the championships. Chopin's freestyle continues to please judges and spectators alike and he has been in the top 3 throughout the year. The show was held near Kingston at Dreamcatcher Farm and the site was well chosen. The competition rings and warm-up area were adjacent to one another making it the perfect setting for any horses who might have been nervous at a new venue.
